Linkage is excited to announce the acquisition of TTM’s Asia Viasource PCB brokering service. The acquisition completed on February 28, 2019.
As some of you may know, our core Linkage team founded this division starting in 2005, as part of the thenToronto-based Coretec printed circuit manufacturer. We were then combined into DDi, Viasystems and TTM in subsequent mergers between 2010 and 2015. Since our departure, TTM has managed the business in a profitable and efficient manner, making it a very worthwhile business acquisition for Linkage.
This acquisition is a “win-win” for Linkage and TTM. As one of the largest PCB companies in the world with their own broad range of factories across the globe, TTM now feels this business is a better fit for a company such as Linkage that specializes in sourcing. Viasource’s annual PCB revenue gives Linkage considerably more purchasing power at our partners and allows us the order volume to take our company to the next step in our evolution as a leading PCB solution provider.
Linkage now will become a more powerful business partner to your company. Through this acquisition we can bring you more responsive service and a more competitive product offering.
We thank the TTM management team for their cooperation and support for this deal. They have been and will continue to be outstanding partners through this transition. We wish them continued success in their future business endeavors.
Feel free to contact either of us. We will be excited to talk more about this new state of Linkage!
